Developed with advanced technology, Khapregesic® retains the natural profile of compounds found in the Khaya senegalensis tree (pronounced Ky-yar sen-ee-gal-en-sis), also known as Khaya (Ky-yar for short).
Khapregesic® is a preparation of Khaya senegalensis dry stem bark. The packaging describes its traditional uses as follows.
Menstruation — Life Period: Khaya senegalensis is traditionally used in Western herbal medicine to:
- Relieve menstruation pain
- Relieve symptoms of mild anxiety
- Reduce mood swings associated with premenstrual tension
- Reduce occurrence of abdominal bloating
Menopause — Life Menopause: Khaya senegalensis is traditionally used in Western herbal medicine to:
- Help reduce occurrence of menopausal symptoms
- Reduce hot flushes and night sweats associated with menopause
- Reduce symptoms of mild anxiety
